The SAP Consultant (EWM/WM) role:

Our SAP Consultant (EWM/WM) will be involved in the delivery of largeend to end SAP implementations as well as significant Enhancements.Field consultants will also be expected to work supporting our existingcustomers whilst not on Project work.

Our SAP Consultant (EWM/WM) will use their expertise and skills in SAPdesign, development, integration, testing and deployment to help ourclients achieve their objectives and as a key member of the LogisticsTeam the SAP Logistics Consultant will ensure design and realisation offunctional solutions are fit for purpose and delivered against statedbusiness requirements

The SAP Consultant (EWM/WM) will assess available technologies, andrecommend solution options according to the customer s activities andrequirements expected to collaborate with customers, other consultantsand core stakeholders to understand user requirements. They may serve asteam members or team leads and be able to work independently on clientsite.

This role will have a focus on delivering SAP Projects at Edenhouse; asa result the role will involve UK based travel whilst working fromClient Locations.

Key Tasks of the SAP Consultant (EWM/WM):

  • Ability to perform the role of Logistics lead on large SAP Implementations including the facilitation of workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the Customer and Edenhouse organisations
  • Design and implement Best Practice SAP Logistics solutions appropriate to Customer requirements and standards
  • Keep up to date with SAP capabilities within the SAP Logistics arena
  • Delivery of complex solutions across a variety of different industry sectors
  • Can prepare specifications, estimates and solution documentation to support work completed
  • Develop familiarity with clients operations
  • Fosters and maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues to meet expected customer service levels
  • Is aware of commercial arrangements with a client and contributes to these as appropriate
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement within the SAP Logistics Team
  • Any other reasonable duty or request

    Desired Skills and Experience of the SAP Consultant (EWM/WM):

  • At least 5 years experience, including a minimum of 3 years full life-cycle SAP project implementations, with strong functional configuration and implementation experience of;
  • EWM: Extended Warehouse Management
  • WM: Warehouse Management
  • Good technical understanding at the ABAP level ability to Debug standard or bespoke code
  • Good knowledge of Integration between the modules, including FI/CO
  • Ability to plan and deliver Client-facing Workshops (eg. Blueprinting)
  • Ability to write detailed Functional Specifications for bespoke developments
  • Knowledge of EDI and IDoc functionality
  • Data Migration Tools (CATT, LSMW)
  • Ability and desire to coach, mentor or manage the other members of the project team
  • Experience with any of the following modules would also be beneficial:
  • SD: Sales, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, Foreign Trade, Logistics functions Delivery / Shipment processing
  • MM: Inventory Management, Purchasing processes, Logistics Invoice Verification
  • PP: Discrete, Process, Repetitive Manufacturing, Material Requirements Planning, S&OP and Demand Management, Capacity Requirements Planning, Production Order Control, Assembly Processing
  • PS: Project Planning, Simulation, WBS, Networks, Costing and Budgeting, Posing and Allocation of Costs, Confirmations, MRP
  • PM: Technical Objects, Notifications, Order Processing, Notifications, Preventative Maintenance planning and Work Scheduling.
  • QM: Inspection Planning, Results processing, Certificate management, Notifications, Test Equipment management, Reporting, LIMS interfaces.
