Product Manager//Global Organisation//Newport//Negotiable Salary (Highly Attractive) + bonus

My client, a world leader in digital security and convergent media solutions for the delivery of digital and interactive television, are looking to appoint a Product Manager into their existing team.

An exciting opportunity to be an instrumental Product Manager of a new generation of TV software product. Your responsibilities will include working together with remote and local teams, providing user story detail leadership and driving the implementation of the product with the scrum teams. You will have significant peer and management support based from the same office and regular opportunities to travel to group headquarters in Switzerland. You will be working with new technologies in a fast developing, exciting sector.

*During the event, the product Manager is involved with Story definition, providing clarifications necessary to assist the team with their story estimates, sprint loading, story sequencing, and drafting the team's specific objectives for the upcoming Program Increment
*Accepting stories into the baseline, the Product Manager is the only team member who can accept stories into the baseline. This includes validation that the story meets acceptance criteria and that each has the appropriate, persistent acceptance tests, and otherwise meets its definite of done. In so doing, the Product Manager also fulfils a quality assurance function, focusing primarily on fitness for use.
*Iterations and teams both serve a larger purpose - frequent, reliable, and continuous release of value added, system level software. During the course of each PI, the product Manager coordinates content dependencies with other Product Managers. This is often accomplished in part by attendance at weekly product Manager team meetings. The Product Manager also has an instrumental role in producing the System Demo for program stakeholders.

*Computer Science or Business Degree or equivalent.
*Minimum 5 years' experience managing a project/solution in an international business environment in DTV or media industry
*Bring solid experience & understanding of working in an Agile engineering organisation,
*Brings a solid experience and understanding of test automation, continuous integration and deployment
*Can balance between functionality and a good user experience & product design
*Track record of success project delivery and continuous processes engineering/development improvements
*Experience with service operations and has had direct exposure to customers
*Basic finance skills with experience.

*Good communication skills to build up strong relationships and manage multi-cultural teams internationally
*Negotiation skills, decision maker
*Strong collaboration & communication skills with the ability to inspire & influence stakeholders
*Fluent English essential, other languages an asset
*Expected to travel about 20%
