Job Description


My client is searching for a Non Life Risk candidate to fulfil their validation requirements in the context of Solvency II - capital models and technical provisions for the whole group.

Validation is a fundamental requirement of Solvency II for institutions wishing to comply with an internal model approach to determine regulatory capital requirements. The validation covers all aspects of a model ( strategy , data quality , methodology , testing , use test , ... ) and supports the entire life cycle of the model ( development , review , modification) .

- Validate the strategy , methodology , data , calculation aspects and processes of the model .
- Evaluate the conceptual and theoretical soundness of methodology and assumptions of the model .
- Validate the correct implementation of the methodology in the chosen tool or code .
- Validate the quality of the data used in the model.
- Validate the model used ( use test ) .
- Set the validation report for the management and the regulator
- Present the decisions of your validation to the Model Control Board, at group and at local level.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the validation methodology.

- Strong quantitative background (Master or PhD in mathematics, statistics , actuarial science , physics or civil engineer)
- You are able to communicate in English.
- Actuarial Studies in Non -Life is more than just an asset
- Relevant experience (2 years ) in ALM , Financial, Life and Non-Life insurance and risk management , particularly in model development or validation
- Good knowledge of Solvency II - particularly Pillar 1 and 2
- Understanding of economic capital modeling and correct validation models
- Good knowledge of ReMetrica , ResQ or ICRFS
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office ( Excel / VBA , Word, PowerPoint , Outlook) .

- Strong cognitive and analytical skills with strong sense of overview and the ability to pick out masses complex information Open-minded , and you have good analytical skills.
