LOCATION: Spalding

JOB TITLE: Sales Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS : Competitive

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week.

THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hard working Sales Manager to join a modern and specialist outdoor plant wholesaler. This position has good prospects for development in the future.

Key Responsibilities to include:-

  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers

  • Introducing the company and ranges to new customers

  • Selling products week to week and further in the future, ensuring targets are hit

  • Occasionally travelling to meet prospect and existing customers

  • Accurately inputting order into sales system

  • Communicating with various teams to ensure orders are delivered correctly


Our client is a large production unit of garden plants for supermarkets, DIY chains and Landscape customers in the UK. Today the nursery is one of the most modern and progressive in it's field. The specialisation, in depth knowledge and professionalism ensures the company maintains its leading market position.


To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong communicator, with the ability to create and maintain relationships. You will be confident and enthusiastic.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the role:-

  • At least 5 years of sales/negotiation experience, preferably with a large chain retailer

  • Driving licence, and access to your own vehicle

  • A horticultural background is desirable
