Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Due to unprecedented growth plans, Experis have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join one of our highly successful, well established teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking organisation that truly puts employee development at the top of the agenda. We are looking for driven, self-motivated individuals who are interested in exploring exactly what the lucrative world of recruitment can offer.

Previous recruitment experience is not essential but would be advantageous, as would experience within a sales environment.

Based in Altrincham, you will be responsible for working within one of our established clients, where full training (both through our training academy and on the job) will be provided to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing candidates through the use of job boards, social media and referrals (and more)
  • Managing the full candidate life cycle from initial screening to offer management
  • Work to and exceed (reasonable) pre-agreed KPI's and sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be results driven and target orientated demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude.

Suitable candidates will need to possess the following:

  • Experience within customer focused/sales positions (desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly in a fast paced environment
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Strong influencing/persuasion ability with enhanced negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and using own initiative
  • Effective questioning techniques
