Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Supervisor to join a growing team and business within an established and professional firm in Aberdeen.
To provide on-site management of assignments in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring clients receive a high calibre service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
&bull Ensuring assignments are undertaken in accordance with the pre-assignment instructions and in accordance with the firm&rsquos procedures.
&bull Ensuring audit quality at all times. Assisting with internal and external quality assurance, completing all actions within scope of the firms&rsquo professional standards.
&bull Liaising with Audit Managers, communicating any problems / compliance concerns, any contentious issues identified, identifying and suggesting possible solutions.
&bull Acting as day-to-day point of contact for clients, demonstrating principles of excellent client service at all times.
&bull Providing adequate briefing, supervision and training for trainee staff.
&bull Reviewing work completed by trainee staff for adequacy and completeness, undertaking job appraisal interviews.
&bull Developing & maintaining an advanced level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and courses / CPD whilst fulfilling the Institute&rsquos CPE requirements.
&bull Maintaining training records, keeping up to date with examination studies.
Desired Experience:
The successful candidate will ideally hold or be working towards a professional Accounting Qualification with experience working within a similar role within professional practice.
&bull Part / fully qualified (CA, ACA or ACCA)
&bull Proven experience of carrying out audit related tasks
&bull Proven experience in a client facing role
&bull Proven audit experience in producing high quality audits
&bull Audit experience of Owner Managed Business clients would be advantageous.
&bull Experience of analytical review approach desirable
