Job Description

Supported Living Service Manager - Learning Disabilities - Sandbach - £25k + benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Care manager with a strong background and experience within the learning disability sector to manage this exciting new complex in Sandbach.

This complex will have 16 apartments and it is due to open early in 2016. You will be responsible for the recruitment of staff, staff supervisions, staff appraisals, risk assessments, person centred care, monitoring and supporting vulnerable adults ensuring they receive high standards of care. You will also need experience with marketing, customer service, liaising with care managers, NHS/GP services, external agencies, families etc.

Our client is a quality focused supported living care provider, they are expanding and are keen to recruit a manager who is approachable, professional and confident and who is enthusiastic, has a positive energetic approach to management and who values and is supportive of staff.

Ideally you will have already achieved your level 5 or NVQ 4 and have at least 3 years management experience and several years' experience of working within the LD/mental health sector.

You will need to have excellent knowledge of the CQC regs and care standards and be fully aware of any recent legislation changes. Your role will include some on call duties; the planning of weekly staff rota's using the Cold Harbour planning system.
