JOB TITLE: Internal Account Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: £18,000 + laptop + phone + performance related bonus

WORKING HOURS: Full time

THE COMPANY: Our client is a technology-based company with specialist expertise and experience in the design, manufacture and installation of aluminium dross and scrap processing systems. Their engineers have, between them, over 200 years of international experience in developing and refining solutions. They are a unique skill resource for their worldwide customers.

THE ROLE: Working as an Internal Account Manager you will be responsible for dealing with incoming sales calls as well as identifying and generating new business for the company through existing con cold calling. The Internal Account Manager will also involve assisting with marketing, exhibitions, conferences, spares quotations and other business activities.

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Promoting and driving the full product range, up-selling, cross selling, and recommending other services
  • Building, developing and maintaining relationships with international clients
  • Involved in marketing, exhibitions, conferences and other business activities
  • Dealing with product queries, pricing, and quotations
  • Overcoming objections by negotiating and working in a consultative sales approach
  • Pro actively seek business opportunities and work to a high conversion rate
  • Ensuring all notes are added to the in-house database system and kept up to date at all times

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Internal Account Manager will have the ability to engage with clients and provide them with an excellent service. Experience within a similar role would be a distinct advantage although not essential. Candidates must be confident with dealing with new and existing customers calmly, effectively and communicating with clients at all business levels. The candidate must also be capable of managing workload in this fast paced environment.

Key experience essential for the role:

  • Sales experience is desirable
  • Customer service experience is desirable
  • Account management experience is desirable
  • Must have good IT skills
  • Educated to A level standard or higher is desirable
