Job Description

.Net Developer wanting to be Product Manager will be responsible for providing Support to the Product Management and wider teams within the business. Testing development, henacement of proejcts, dealing with day-to-day Product Support issues that may be escalated from a variety of sources, including our Customer Service teams, seeing those through to resolution with either our 3rd party or our internal support teams.

You will be part of the new release of new products/service offerings created as they are increasing their focus on this dynamic and fast growing market. Act as the second line of support for any queries, escalating them as required.

The role will involve working with development partners, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Key applications (Internet, Intranet and Extranet) include Client-facing Interfaces as well an Editorial Interface supporting our significant number of globally based Editors.


  • Extensive knowledge about XML, SQL Server database, .NET and web-based technologies understanding and development skills. - (Java will be a bonus but not must have)
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies and good understanding and preferably experience in both manual testing
  • Experience in composing and reviewing test scripts
  • Competent knowledge of maintaining database-driven feeds/console based products
  • Proficiency in utilising issue-tracking tools (ie JIRA or similar)
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to influence others and communicate effectively on complex tasks/solutions
  • Strong organisation and project management skills.
  • Ability to translation of business requirement's into functional deliverable.
