Job Description

Michael Page Technology are looking to speak to talented data specialists about a Data Quality Lead role in the Northamptonshire region.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Data, the Data Quality Lead will hold responsibility for the development and implementation of a new Data Quality strategy, on the back of a newly created group-level data warehouse.

  • Liase with internal customers and senior stakeholders to understand the reporting and intelligence requirements across the business.
  • Translation of business data usage into workable data models and formats.
  • Work with end users through unexpected or erroneous results, and conduct fault-finding and root cause analysis to resolve any underlying issues within the data structures.
  • Develop and mentor the capabilities of at least 2 junior Quality Analysts.

Profile

The Data Quality Lead must adhere to the following criteria.

  • Proven technical expertise in the manipulation and interrogation of large data sets - particularly in a SQL Server environment.
  • SQL Query writing expertise, and with wider understanding of Microsoft data warehouse and ETL systems and processes.
  • Very strong communicator, able to work through issues with end users and senior stakeholders in a concise and straightforward manner.
  • Senior/Team Lead experience preferred.
  • Degree education in IT or a related discipline.

Job Offer

£35,000 - £42,000 p/a plus company benefits package
