Job Description

Experienced Software Engineer? Looking for something new?

Our client is a market front runner in providing print finishing solutions. They are looking for an experienced Software Engineer, looking for a new challenge. Your key tasks would include: designing and developing software, writing code ranging from motion control to GUI on platforms ranging from microprocessors to PCs, creating test rigs to prove new concepts and supporting our client’s wide range of existing products, helping to innovate these to tailor to customers’ requirements

Key Qualifications and Experience:

C# and .NET in user interfaces on real time motion controls. 

   The ability to understand the intricate workings of our equipment in order to solve technical problems and fine-tune performance.   An analytical approach to problems and their solutions.  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical details clearly.

·         Confident individual capable of working in a small team or on their own initiative.  Experience of VB6, C/C++ or IEC61131, useful but not essential.   
Personal Attributes 

·         We expect candidates to have appropriate Engineering qualifications. The successful candidate is likely to be educated to Degree level

Previous experience in book finishing equipment design and applications is highly desirable.
