Job Description

Our High Wycomber based client is seeking to immdiately appoint a Paraplanner within their Financial Services Department. The candidate will be working along side a team of Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) assisting them with all levels of financial reporting.

The ideal candidate should be confident, self-motivated and be able to work effectively by themselves as well as being part of a team.

You must be able to organise your own work and prioritise your own diary once work has been allocated to you.

To be successful you will have extensive experience in Financial Services with a wide product knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good understanding of Microsoft software including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Intelligent Office would also be advantageous.

Day to day duties would involve: -

  • Preparation of suitability reports
  • Preparation of financial reports
  • Preparation of annual reviews
  • Assistance with financial modelling and projections;
  • Completion of files to meet compliance standards
  • Assisting financial services administrators with technical queries;
  • Client relationship management
  • Liaising with providers by telephone/correspondence in relation to new and existing business
  • Input of commission/adviser fees and the raising of invoices
  • Communication with clients and insurers both written and verbal
  • Handling account queries (internal and external)
  • Processing and submission of new business (online and postal applications) and monitoring applications
  • Processing amendments to existing plans e.g. fund switches

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have achieved Diploma in Financial Planning (DFP) Cefa or equivalent
